We are in search of a candidate who will take full responsibility for overseeing and managing construction and restoration projects, from initial assessments and estimates to project completion. This position demands a combination of technical estimating expertise and robust project management skills, ensuring that all projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all stages of construction and restoration projects, including planning, organizing, and directing field operations.
  • Conduct site evaluations, accurately documenting damages with measurements, notes, and photographs.
  • Utilize Xactimate software to estimate reconstruction costs for both residential and commercial restoration projects involving water, fire, wind, and mold damage.
  • Negotiate reconstruction expenses with insurance representatives, ensuring fair and precise scope and cost for repairs.
  • Acquire necessary materials, permits, and equipment for project execution.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and internal teams to establish and meet expectations.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project timelines, financial planning, and overall financial oversight of assignments.
  • Assist in the preparation of design, process, and permit documentation as required.
  • Complete weekly expense reports and authorize invoices.
  • Respond to emergency property damage calls as needed.
  • Participate in relevant company meetings and undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction project management and estimating, ideally within the restoration field.
  • Proficient in Xactimate software.
  • Strong background in both residential and commercial reconstruction, with effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in sales or a strong sales orientation is advantageous, particularly in client-facing roles, to effectively convey value propositions and foster business growth.
  • Must pass a background check and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and client relationship management.
