Position Summary

The maintenance technician will be tasked with painting, performing minor repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance. This role is crucial to our management team, ensuring that our high standards for cleanliness, aesthetic appeal, and customer satisfaction are consistently met. Responsibilities include maintaining a professional demeanor that aligns with the company's goals and resident satisfaction, keeping shared spaces, landscaping, hallways, garages, parking areas, and alleys tidy and organized, proactively addressing cleanliness and the visual condition of both the interior and exterior of buildings, and executing regular cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, waste disposal, pressure washing, and collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor and Business Manager on scheduled cleaning initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols at all times
  • Experience in painting is highly advantageous
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Self-motivated and a collaborative team player, willing to assist wherever necessary
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, balancing, and carrying
  • Availability for weekend and holiday shifts
  • Preferred: 1 year of relevant experience
