Job Summary:

  • Provide administrative support to HR staff, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Assist with recruitment and hiring processes, including posting job openings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee information, including personnel files and benefits data.
  • Coordinate training and development programs for HR staff, including scheduling, logistics, and evaluation.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by HR management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Four years of full-time experience in human resources, customer service, or a related field.
  • Computer operations experience preferred.
  • Ability to type 45 WPM with no more than 10 errors.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a certificate of course completion for the Texas Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (TLETS) policy and procedures training within six months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience with HR software and systems.
  • Knowledge of Texas state laws and regulations related to human resources.
