Role Overview: As a pivotal member of our team, you will ensure exceptional service delivery to our clients, supporting the agency's growth objectives through collaboration with the Account Manager. Your expertise will guide our clients through their insurance needs, enhancing their experience and fostering long-term relationships.

  • Client Engagement: Deliver outstanding service by promptly addressing client inquiries and tailoring solutions to meet their unique needs.
  • Policy Management: Collaborate with the Account Manager to make informed policy placement decisions that align with client requirements and agency standards.
  • Coverage Review: Assess existing policy coverages, identifying opportunities for enhancements and ensuring comprehensive protection for clients.
  • Risk Underwriting: Evaluate individual risk scenarios to confirm compliance with agency and insurance company standards.
  • Application Coordination: Gather applications from Sales Executives and clients, providing accurate price quotations and coverage comparisons.
  • Transaction Oversight: Manage all account transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness while adhering to established workflow procedures.
  • Cancellation Management: Review cancellation requests, determining appropriate actions and collaborating with team members to retain business where possible.
  • Proactive Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-up on all client and company communications to maintain service excellence.
  • Account Rounding: Treat every service interaction as an opportunity to enhance coverage and secure referrals.
  • Renewal Review: Collaborate with the Account Manager to assess client accounts prior to renewal, recommending necessary coverage adjustments.
  • Referral Generation: Actively seek referrals from existing clients to expand the agency's client base.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry changes and maintain relevant information from insurance providers.
  • Client Communication: Regularly reach out to clients to express appreciation for their business and strengthen relationships.
  • Claims Processing: Manage claims, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution as needed.
  • Documentation: Accurately document all client interactions and communications regarding coverages and exposures.
  • Professional Development: Maintain necessary professional accreditations and participate in continuing education opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and communicate any issues to management to uphold service standards.
  • Confidentiality: Uphold confidentiality in all client and agency matters.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: College degree; required: high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ten years of experience in insurance coverage, with a strong understanding of rating and underwriting processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Vertafore is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and professional insurance designation.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
