As a Customer Service Associate, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences to our members, guests, and prospects. Your contributions will help us achieve our mission of providing comprehensive wellness services to hospitals, healthcare systems, universities, and community colleges. Key Responsibilities • Provide top-notch customer service to members, guests, and prospects, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. • Manage interactions at the service desk, including opening and closing procedures, answering phones, processing point-of-sale transactions, and handling guest registration and fees. • Promote and sell memberships and ancillary services, such as personal training, massage therapy, and nutrition services. • Schedule appointments via our core business software, including reminder phone calls and cancellations. • Maintain knowledge of opening and closing procedures, including balancing drawers, credit card and check policies, and cash drawer management. • Enroll members via contract, explaining membership details, obtaining signatures, and providing member handbooks. • Communicate effectively with all departments via radio as needed. • Work towards achieving established satisfaction metrics, such as Secret Shops and Member Survey scores. • Maintain an average of 5 working shifts per month to ensure job performance. • Stand for extended periods (typically 3-6 hours) during shifts. Requirements • High School diploma or GED preferred. • 1 year certificate from college or technical school preferred. • Minimum 6 months of related experience or training preferred. • 2-3 years of sales, reception, and computer skills preferred. • CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with members in a positive, service-based manner. • Ability to multitask and maintain a controlled and professional demeanor. • Proficient computer skills.
