About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Dental Care at Ledge Rock. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record-keeping.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC recommendations.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.
  • Partner with providers and teams to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification, if required under the state dental practice act.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions, with regular HIPAA training required.
