Job Summary

The Senior Technician position at Bridgestone Americas requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead a team in diagnosing and repairing complex drivability and electrical systems. This role involves utilizing technical expertise, leadership skills, and mentoring abilities to drive customer satisfaction and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, with a focus on brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
  • Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
  • Assist fellow technicians and mechanics in performing technical activities.
Requirements
  • A valid automobile driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • A minimum of 3 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program in a related field, or demonstrated skills via third-party certificates/assessments.
  • A.S.E. certification in at least 3 (three) of A1-A8 is required.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.
