Job Title: Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care and meal preparation.
  • Provide transportation for clients as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Document client progress and provide regular updates to the care team.
Requirements:
  • Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire.
  • First Aid/CPR and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification.
  • Valid California Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and work in various environments.
