Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Join Redwood Family Care Network, a leading provider of person-centered home and community-based services, as a Direct Support Professional. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and living fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Support clients in achieving their goals, including participating in leisure activities, socializing with peers, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Assist clients with personal care, including grooming, bathroom needs, and changing clothing.
  • Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
  • Transport clients to appointments, activities, and social events.
  • Communicate daily with administrators to report incidents, concerns, and progress.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in caregiving, preferably supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses.
  • Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid California Driver's License.
