Imaging Services Coordinator
Location: Brooklyn, NY

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in scheduling patients, confirming valid authorizations, and ensuring all prior imaging results and clinical documentation are properly filed.
  • Work closely with radiologists and technologists to resolve scheduling conflicts and adapt to changes efficiently.
  • Ensure all scheduling tasks are executed without issues and that assignments from radiologists, technologists, and supervisors are completed promptly.
  • Respond to inquiries from various staff members, departments, and medical offices.
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations while managing sensitive patient information.
  • Organize and oversee the Onco inbox for the designated imaging modality, addressing all email inquiries effectively.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in radiology scheduling is essential.
  • Familiarity with medical records and HIPAA compliance is necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
Compensation is competitive, with a salary of up to $28 per hour based on experience.
