Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:

TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team as a travel CT Technologist in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, such as CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical professionals to interpret.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients for optimal image capture and ensure patient comfort and safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient images and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
  • 1+ year of experience as a CT Technologist in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
