Nurse Manager of Trauma

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Trauma team at our Lexington, KY location. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department, including staffing, patient flow, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Develop and maintain a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years of Emergency nursing experience required.
  • Current license in the state of Kentucky.
  • Basic Life Support certification (successful completion within three [3] months of employment).
