Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Trauma Performance Improvement Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a minimum of three years of trauma nursing experience. The successful candidate will have expertise in quality improvement and research, as well as strong computer skills. The Trauma Performance Improvement Nurse will be responsible for improving patient outcomes and providing high-quality care in the trauma and acute care surgery services department.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: The successful candidate will have the following skills and abilities:

  • Expertise in trauma nursing and quality improvement
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of word processing, database management, and statistical software
  • Ability to work positively in collaboration with all healthcare disciplines and departments

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No

Preferred Education/Experience: A Master of Science in Nursing or other healthcare related Master's degree is preferred. Certification in specialty preferred (TNCC). Must hold and maintain a Kentucky Nursing License as a Registered Nurse and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
