Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning to promote patient empowerment and self-care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; one year of patient care experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification required within two weeks of hire; must maintain current certification thereafter.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, and to work overtime as needed.
