Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Firelands Scientific / The Landing Dispensaries. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients in selecting appropriate medical cannabis products for their needs
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store
  • Help patients make informed decisions by providing education on different methods of cannabis consumption and suggesting dosage starting points
  • Ensure accurate cash handling and discount application
  • Verify proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for patients
  • Accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Maintain organized and clean store
  • Assist in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
  • Ensure security measures and safety compliance
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Recent and relevant hospitality and/or retail experience required
  • Excellent patient experience skills
  • Ability to learn and understand cannabinoids and the natural function of the endocannabinoid system
  • Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences
Work Environment

This role is similar to a retail pharmacy, with frequent internal and external interaction. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
