Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Firelands Scientific / The Landing Dispensaries. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients in selecting appropriate medical cannabis products for their needs
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of every product and strain in the store
- Help patients make informed decisions by providing education on different methods of cannabis consumption and suggesting dosage starting points
- Ensure accurate cash handling and discount application
- Verify proper paperwork, documentation, and ID for patients
- Accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Maintain organized and clean store
- Assist in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
- Ensure security measures and safety compliance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Recent and relevant hospitality and/or retail experience required
- Excellent patient experience skills
- Ability to learn and understand cannabinoids and the natural function of the endocannabinoid system
- Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences
This role is similar to a retail pharmacy, with frequent internal and external interaction. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with internal and external stakeholders, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
