**Key Responsibilities:**
Enhance student achievement—and your own—by providing support to your designated student as outlined in their individualized education plan (IEP). Experience the fulfillment of facilitating personalized behavior interventions and imparting essential life skills. As a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to comprehensive guidance and support.
- Attractive hourly compensation ranging from $15 to $18.
- Engage with a diverse student population from various developmental, cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Work closely with an assigned student to achieve IEP objectives, offering necessary accommodations and modifications.
- Assist in the creation and adjustment of behavior intervention strategies.
- Execute behavior intervention plans; document and monitor behavioral data, progress towards goals, and incidents.
- Employ behavior intervention and support techniques.
- Utilize de-escalation methods, crisis intervention, and physical restraint when required to ensure the safety of students and staff.
- Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere that nurtures the development of appropriate social and behavioral skills.
- Supervise students to ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to guarantee the consistent application of behavior intervention strategies.
- Provide personal care assistance based on the individual needs of the student.
- Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians.
