Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced University Dining Manager to lead our Student Dining program at a prestigious private university. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our main dining hall, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of dining hall supervisors and front-of-house associates
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the student dining experience
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation
  • Manage budgets and financial reports to ensure operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with the catering team to deliver exceptional events and services
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and growth

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a similar setting, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, and presentation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
