Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $142,800 - $174,400, based on industry standards and market research. This compensation package is designed to attract and retain top talent while ensuring fairness and competitiveness.

Job Description

As the Manager of Compensation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping BECU's compensation strategy. Your leadership will ensure that our base compensation programs are efficient, effective, and aligned with our corporate goals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing base pay programs, including merit cycles and salary structures
  • Leading the administration of annual incentive programs
  • Advising business leaders on compensation issues
  • Managing job design and evaluation processes
  • Overseeing salary surveys and market research
  • Participating in performance management processes
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to employees
  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field
  • Typically 4 years of relevant experience and 1 year of management experience
  • Advanced spreadsheet and database/reporting skills
  • Experience working with broad base compensation programs
