Key Responsibilities

The Culinary Service Associate is tasked with various duties, including but not limited to:

  • Monitoring and documenting food temperatures
  • Setting up and maintaining a clean and sanitized serving area
  • Preparing and serving food items
  • Restocking food areas as needed
  • Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment
  • Processing payments for food and beverages

Adhering to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines is essential. Providing excellent customer service and effectively communicating with patrons and colleagues is a must. The role requires the ability to establish effective working relationships.

Maintaining quality control standards is critical. The associate may operate various kitchen equipment, including grills, beverage machines, cash registers, and dishwashers. Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred.

Qualifications

Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Previous experience in customer service, retail, and food service is advantageous. Candidates should possess the ability to read, write, and follow both oral and written instructions, as well as perform basic math. On-the-job training will be provided.

Depending on the location, Serv Safe certification may be required within a specified timeframe. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may also be necessary based on location requirements.
