This position is focused on the assembly processes for CVG100 Assembler II.

Rack Assembly Network

Execute back-end and box-build assembly tasks to guarantee timely delivery of high-quality products. Work efficiently in accordance with established workmanship standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Adhere to detailed verbal or written instructions, including visual aids.

Confirm the accuracy of incoming materials and store them using the FIFO (first in, first out) inventory method.

Manually construct an assembly or box-build system utilizing specific tools, torque drivers, and hardware, maintaining a predetermined production rate.

Retrieve and scan necessary components or sub-assemblies from flow racks, bins, or Kanban locations.

Maintain certification and/or proficiency in Assembler I, Router, Press Fit, and RTV operations.

Ensure certification and/or proficiency in DF Pre-Kitting Assembly/Test, Hi-Pot Test, Bundle Kitting, and Pack-Out operations.

Collect and scan required components or sub-assemblies from designated flow racks or bin locations.

Conduct physical inventory assessments of parts or assemblies in specified areas.

Implement the Purge process as necessary.

Ensure the functionality of all production equipment through preventative maintenance practices.

Uphold 5S order and cleanliness in the assigned workspace at all times.

Comply with all safety and health regulations related to this role as directed by the supervisor.

Adhere to all procedures outlined in the company security policy.

May undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Ability to calculate the quantity of parts that need to be prepared and ready for use at any given time.

Capable of effectively presenting information and responding to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Adept at defining problems, gathering data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.

Proficient in operating a personal computer, including familiarity with a Windows-based operating system and related software.

Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.

Ability to compose simple correspondence and read and comprehend visual aids.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute simple one- or two-step instructions.

Capable of managing standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, as well as to draw and interpret graphs.
