Job Title: Laser Engineer

Pendar Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Laser Engineer to join our Infrared Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development and innovation of semiconductor optoelectronic devices, with a focus on III-V laser technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test III-V semiconductor lasers and photonic devices.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to ensure designs and manufacturing processes meet customer specifications.
  • Develop and refine characterization setups, methods, and procedures.
  • Perform in-depth characterization and analysis of device performance, including reliability studies.

Qualifications:

  • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Physics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in III-V optoelectronic device development for candidates with a B.S. degree; at least 4 years of experience for M.S. or Ph.D. candidates.
