Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the operational activities of our funeral home, cemetery, and crematory operations.
  • Ensure the highest quality services and products are provided to our clients.
  • Manage accounting functions, including accounts receivable and payable, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Coordinate the processing of orders and receipt of merchandise, including memorials and caskets.
  • Oversee the installation of funeral-related orders and ensure all contracts and work orders are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing and overseeing all funeral and cemetery-related forms.
  • Administer local Human Resources processes, including new hire paperwork and employee files.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and interact with families in a professional and compassionate manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of bookkeeping, general office, clerical accounting, and Accounts Payable experience required.
  • Solid working knowledge of computers, MS Office, and basic office equipment required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills required.
Work Environment

Professional dress is required when interacting with families. Work postures include sitting for extended periods and climbing stairs to access buildings. Physical demands include manual dexterity and working beyond standard hours as needed.
