Department Overview
The Office of Educational Partnerships and Programs is committed to planning and coordinating K-16 initiatives that foster collaborative partnerships and create meaningful connections with colleges, school districts, and higher education institutions to best serve our students. Our programs include the Promise Program: Cerritos Complete, Teacher TRAC, Learning Communities/First Year Experience Program, Dual Enrollment Programs, Articulation, and Credit by Exam.
Position Summary
The Senior Manager of Collaborative Enrollment Programs is responsible for overseeing the functions and activities that support the Dual Enrollment and President's Middle Scholar programs. This role serves as the primary liaison between the college and high schools/districts, ensuring compliance with agreements related to these initiatives while providing comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Educational Partnerships and Programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, assess, and evaluate the Dual Enrollment Program. Develop and implement services, strategies, projects, goals, and objectives for each program.
- Engage with high school/district administrators to conduct needs analyses and prepare mutually acceptable Memoranda of Understanding.
- Prepare recommendations and contracts for administrative review and Board of Trustees consideration.
- Establish a robust student support structure for each signed agreement, including counseling, matriculation, tutoring, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure compliance with Career Access Pathways Act requirements and other established standards.
- Act as a liaison for course scheduling, curriculum, conflict resolution, and resource management.
- Provide support services to program participants, assisting with enrollment, goal achievement, and progress tracking.
- Maintain program timelines and priorities, coordinating course offerings and ensuring faculty coverage.
- Prepare and maintain various records and reports, submitting mandated documentation in a timely manner.
- Facilitate admissions, program registration, and articulation processes between the college and high schools/districts.
- Conduct site visits to strengthen communication and ensure alignment between high school and college course offerings.
- Develop and coordinate marketing and outreach initiatives to enhance awareness and participation in Dual Enrollment Programs.
- Maintain relationships with external agencies, community groups, and local organizations.
- Oversee budget development and management, maximizing financial resources.
- Conduct evaluations for dual enrollment courses and gather feedback from participants and stakeholders.
- Lead, supervise, and evaluate assigned personnel.
- Participate in committees and special assignments, delivering presentations as needed.
- Stay current with knowledge and skills relevant to the position.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and five years of related experience. A Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or Psychology is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Dual Enrollment or managing complex projects in K12 or higher education settings.
- Experience with pathway development and articulation.

Working Conditions
Work is primarily performed indoors with minimal safety concerns.
Salary and Benefits
Grade 29 on District Management Salary Schedule. Health and welfare benefits include medical/dental/vision coverage and life insurance. Participation in the Public Employee's Retirement System and Social Security is also included, along with annual vacation days.
