Clinical Psychology Intern Job Description

This position is for a Clinical Psychology Intern at the State of California, Department of State Hospitals - Metropolitan. The Clinical Psychology Intern is a training position established to provide supervised professional experience in clinical psychology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical services under the supervision of a licensed psychologist
  • Develop skills and expertise in clinical psychology
  • Work with patients with mental health disorders

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a doctoral program in clinical psychology
  • Registration with the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC)
  • Registration with the National Matching services for Psychology Internship placement
