About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist Senior to join our team at Disability Solutions. This senior-level position will focus on developing and implementing corporate safety policies, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and managing claims related to property and auto incidents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety requirements, OSHA codes, and emergency response procedures. They will also possess excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement corporate safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and surveys to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Manage claims related to property and auto incidents, including investigations, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with insurance risk management teams to develop risk assessments and discuss appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain records of lost time accidents and prepare reports for management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements, OSHA codes, and emergency response procedures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
