Job Summary

As a Sales Allocation Manager at Shiseido, you will oversee and execute all allocations for saleable and point-of-sales-materials. This role operates as a central point of contact for Sales Operations and provides clear communication to the Senior Manager and cross-functional partners. You will be responsible for making key allocation decisions, analyzing sales data, and managing the sales analysis and reporting process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate new launch, constraint, promotional, and point-of-sale materials in a multi-branded environment.
  • Distribute and analyze weekly sell-in and sell-thru reporting for new launch and promo to all relevant parties.
  • Provide POSM sell-in reporting monthly to all relevant parties.
  • Manage the end-to-end allocation process to meet programmed on-counter dates, analyzing risks to launch timelines, and providing timely launch updates and identifying CEP impacts.
  • Participate in strategic planning discussions for new launch planning, aligning with internal stakeholders on pipe and 12-month retail projections.
  • Review and reconcile allocation errors for open orders daily.
  • Provide allocation approvals for no-charge orders for internal teams and retailers.
  • Lead operational status meetings with cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Create seasonal order forms.
  • Maintain item data and order forms in NuOrder portal.
  • Issue weekly out-of-stock reports for finished goods.
  • Special projects on an ongoing basis, maintaining a flexible approach to specific requests.

Qualifications and Competencies
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, proficiency in SAP a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret sales data, with problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates leadership and takes initiative, with the ability to assess a situation and act independently.
  • Effective project management skills and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a high level of organization and accuracy.
