Support Staff for Children's Development

Bond Health is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Support Staff for Children's Development to join our team in the Bronx. As a Support Staff for Children's Development, you will work closely with a preschool child, providing personalized support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to the child in the classroom setting.
  • Accompany the child to various therapy sessions, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
  • Assist the child in responding to medical emergencies and provide general care.
  • Carry out various tasks as required by the situation and supervisor.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possession of a GED or high school diploma is mandatory.
  • Experience working with children with special needs is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Epi-Pen usage is crucial.
  • Ability to work with medically fragile children in a school environment is essential.
  • Fingerprinting by the Board of Education is required.
  • Certification as a Mandated Reporter is necessary.
  • A $25 money order to complete the SCR Form is to be paid by the candidate.
  • Recent Quantiferon TB test and pre-employment physical exam are required.
  • Titer tests for MMR, TDAP, and Varicella are also necessary.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.
