Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our emergency team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in partnering with our ER Doctors, providing top-notch customer experiences, and delivering outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Triage incoming patients and manage clients throughout their visit
  • Partner with DVMs in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
  • Obtain and process laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates
  • Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient assessment
  • Execute, monitor, and recover all assigned sedation and anesthetic events

Requirements:

  • CA RVT license required
  • At least 2+ years of clinical ER experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations
  • High level of venipuncture skills, math calculations, and patient handling

About the Role:

You will be working in a fast-paced emergency environment, partnering with our ER Doctors to provide top-notch patient care. Your day-to-day tasks will involve triaging incoming patients, managing clients, and working closely with our DVMs to deliver exceptional patient care.
