Job SummaryThe Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) will play a critical role in providing outstanding patient care, working closely with our veterinarians and other team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. As an RVT, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures
- Collaborating with veterinarians and other team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conducting laboratory tests and procedures, such as blood draws and urinalyses
- Assisting with surgical procedures and maintaining aseptic technique
- Providing excellent client service, including communicating with pet owners and addressing their concerns
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid California RVT certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Physical stamina to lift and restrain pets of varying sizes
