Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU

Haywood Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer specialized treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor critical conditions and respond to emergencies as needed
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
  • Current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or from a Compact State
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • AHA ACLS and AHA PALS certification within six months of hire
  • One year of experience in ICU or critical care preferred
