Job Description
At Haywood Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will work under the supervision of a physician or nurse, assisting with patient assessments and treatments. Your responsibilities will include performing basic diagnostic procedures, specimen collection, and monitoring patient conditions. You will also be responsible for documenting patient care given and maintaining equipment and medical supplies. Additionally, you will perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Previous medical experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Certifications:
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.

Licenses:
Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant within 6 months of hire.
