Location: Pasadena, TX

· Compensation: $18 per hour – Standard 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 3 PM

· All candidates must undergo a background check and drug screening

· Must possess authorization to work in the United States


This role is designed as a temporary assignment with a duration of 12 weeks, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience operating cherry pickers is essential.
  • Willingness to learn all facets of warehouse operations, although prior experience is advantageous.
  • The warehouse environment is not climate-controlled; candidates should be prepared for varying temperatures.
  • Steel-toed footwear is mandatory.
  • Candidates must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Position Summary:

As a Logistics Warehouse Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing the flow of goods within the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, recording, and dispatching products efficiently and safely. You will ensure that all warehousing tasks, such as packing, storage, replenishment, picking, loading, and dispatching, are carried out effectively while maintaining accurate data in the ERP system.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Process and load orders by interpreting production schedules and customer requests.
  • Unload and organize incoming shipments, checking for damages and discrepancies.
  • Sort, label, and store products according to established protocols to maximize warehouse efficiency.
  • Prepare and dispatch outgoing goods, ensuring accuracy in product selection and quantity.
  • Load delivery trucks while ensuring products are secured for transport.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in inventory counts.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and warehouse protocols at all times.
  • Utilize warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a warehouse setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines and operational instructions.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Mathematical proficiency for inventory management tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment:

  • May require the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Shifts may vary, including potential overtime and weekend work.
  • Physical demands include lifting, standing, walking, and operating machinery.
