Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Department at Fairview Park Hospital, a 175+ bed acute-care hospital serving the City of Dublin and surrounding communities.
Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and possess excellent communication skills. As a Registered Nurse in our department, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan to achieve positive patient outcomes.
You will manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions. You will also instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, maintain and review patients' records, administer medications as ordered by physicians, check rooms daily for necessary supplies, and respond to incoming telephone calls.
To succeed in this role, you must have a valid license as a Registered Nurse in the State where you practice or hold a Compact/Multi-State RN license. A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification is required, and previous hospital-setting experience is preferred.
