Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Specialist to join our team at The Mosaic Group. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of marketing and communications plans, deploying digital and traditional communications campaigns, and maintaining internal and external project timelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Integrated Marketing & Communications:
    • Collaborate with the team to develop client and internal marketing plans, including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics.
    • Maintain project timelines and calendars, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deadlines.
    • Deploy organic and paid digital and traditional communications campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, print, television, and radio.
    • Develop and deploy content for blogs, articles, social media, email, and other channels.
    • Create email marketing communications for clients and the company.
    • Update and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they are up-to-date and visually appealing.
    • Design social media graphics using provided templates, aligning with the company's brand guidelines.
    • Assist in planning and managing in-person and virtual events, developing schedules, sourcing assets, and coordinating personnel.
    • Attend events as necessary, representing the company and interacting with clients and stakeholders.
  • Administrative Communications:
    • Conduct research on subject matter related to client projects and campaigns.
    • Manage production of promotional materials and collateral, coordinating requirements with clients, the creative team, and vendors.
    • Maintain mailing lists, contact databases, and community stakeholder lists, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
    • Assist in creating client reports and proposals, summarizing key findings and recommendations.
    • Collaborate with team members and vendors to achieve campaign goals, providing support and expertise as needed.
    • Monitor campaign budgets, reviewing invoices and expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility.
    • Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are on task and on time, providing regular updates and insights.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1-3 years in the communications field, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
    • Proficiency in cloud-based file management software such as Google Drive and Dropbox.
    • Experience working with project management software like Teamwork, Asana, Basecamp, Monday, etc.
    • Proficiency in WordPress website maintenance and content management.
    • Proficiency in email marketing software like MailChimp, Constant Contact, Emma, etc.
    • Basic knowledge of Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, or experience in graphic design.
  • Affiliations:
    • College degree in marketing, communications, or journalism; or equivalent work experience.
    • Fluency in English required; proficiency in Spanish and/or Creole a plus.
Estimated Salary:

$45,000 - $55,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
