This role involves providing cybersecurity operations support, including:

- Vulnerability management
- Risk management framework assessment and authorization
- Network security
- Cybersecurity incident response

- Cybersecurity configuration management
- Cybersecurity annual inspections

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Establishing enterprise information assurance and security standards for authentication and authorization.
- Developing and implementing information assurance/security standards and procedures.
- Leading the project management for the implementation of digital identity and multi-factor authentication across various web applications.
- Coordinating, developing, and evaluating security programs for the organization.
- Recommending information assurance/security solutions to meet customer requirements.
- Analyzing user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands to establish information assurance and security requirements.
- Conducting analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.
- Reviewing and assessing current application authentication topologies to recommend a path forward for centralized federated authentication solutions.
- Leading the creation of design documentation for the federated authentication topology.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of a Zero-Trust architecture roadmap.
- Ensuring that cybersecurity workforce personnel are identified, categorized, certified, and qualified for their assigned tasks according to applicable directives and policies.
- Implementing a scan–remediate–rescan and validation methodology for all networked and stand-alone systems.
- Developing documented Vulnerability Management procedures for scanning, remediation, and quarterly validation.
- Ensuring all networks and systems undergo automated or manual authenticated scans and addressing any vulnerabilities.
- Conducting weekly scans to verify remediation efforts and performing monthly asset discovery scans.
- Establishing documented patch management procedures for effective patching and confirmation.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
- Seven (7) years of information technology experience within DoD efforts.
- Five (5) years of managerial experience in similar contexts.
- Top Secret Clearance.
- Experience managing a dispersed workforce to secure an integrated network.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business, or a related discipline with 8 years of progressively responsible experience in defining security requirements. Without a degree, at least 10 years of relevant experience is required.

- Knowledge of computer and communication systems supporting Navy and Joint training events.
- Familiarity with ISO 9000:2015 Quality Management System.
- 6+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, including:
- NIST Risk Management Framework, architecture, digital identity, federated authentication, penetration testing, firewalls, encryption, security monitoring, event and anomaly analysis, and intrusion detection/prevention.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing federated authentication solutions and digital identity management.
- 3+ years of experience leading a team of Cyber Security professionals.
- 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing SAML and Open Connect authentication methodologies.
- Hands-on experience implementing Zero-Trust principles applicable to business applications.
- Experience with Microsoft and Linux, including Red Hat web server platforms.
- Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases and their security configurations.

Desired Qualifications:
- Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP, GCIH, GCIA, GSEC, OSCP, CHFI, CEH).

- Experience with Anti-Virus, Intrusion Detection/Protection Systems, Firewalls, Active Directory, Vulnerability Assessment tools, and other security tools in large network environments.

- Familiarity with technologies such as ADFS, Ping Federate, SAML, Open Connect Authentication, and Azure or AWS cloud applications.
- ITIL v3 or v4 certification.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $122,366 - $204,360. However, this is not a guarantee of compensation, as salary will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
