Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Recreational Therapist, you will work with patients on an inpatient rehab unit to help them recover and regain their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat leisure needs for hospital inpatients in rehab and head pain programs
  • Develop and implement recreational therapy plans to promote patient engagement and participation
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Provide education and resources to patients and families on leisure activities and community resources
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy from an accredited university
  • Previous experience working with inpatient rehab populations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
