Community Health Partnership of Illinois is seeking a skilled Health Information Technology Specialist to manage and maintain our electronic health records systems.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with experience working with electronic health records systems to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining electronic health records systems, training healthcare staff on how to use them effectively, and ensuring patient information is securely stored and compliant with HIPAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain electronic health records systems
  • Train healthcare staff on how to use electronic health records systems
  • Ensure patient information is securely stored and compliant with HIPAA regulations
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with electronic health records systems
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate health information technology systems with other healthcare systems
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in health information technology

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, or a related field
  • Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Certified Healthcare Technology Specialist (CHTS) preferred
  • Experience working with electronic health records systems
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
