About the Role:

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Dialysis team at St. Mary's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical status upon admission and throughout their treatment course, providing regular updates to the healthcare team.
  • Assist in implementing patients' treatment plans under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN), initiating and discontinuing dialysis treatments as needed, and administering IVP medications to dialysis patients.
  • Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with established plans and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply and master skills in area of specialization, providing guidance and general oversight to less experienced employees, and training new employees as needed.
  • Serve as a resource to others in resolving complex issues, patient cases, or technical skills.

Requirements:

  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

Physical Requirements:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

Pay Range:

$26.50 - $32.50
