Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our primary care and specialty practices, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care and Service: Provide high-quality patient care by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, and performing various treatment procedures.
  • Medication Administration and Reporting: Administer medication and give/receive relevant reports, both written and verbal, from/to appropriate staff as per departmental protocols.
  • Documentation: Ensure concise, pertinent, and complete documentation using computerized medical record processes.
  • Preparation: Ensure clinical areas are properly supplied and exam rooms are available and stocked.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in New York State
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
