Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical status upon admission and throughout treatment, providing regular updates to the healthcare team.
- Assist in implementing patient treatment plans under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN), initiating and discontinuing dialysis treatments as needed.
- Administer IVP medications to dialysis patients and complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide guidance and oversight to less experienced employees, training new staff members as needed.
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse certification from the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
