POSITION OVERVIEW:
As the Flight Operations First Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Captain during all phases of flight, prioritizing the safety and comfort of our passengers. You will collaborate with a diverse team of aviation professionals, including pilots, maintenance staff, and operational coordinators, to ensure seamless flight operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate flight planning by confirming departure schedules, itineraries, and identifying any specific requirements in collaboration with the Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
  • Prepare for flights by engaging in preflight briefings with the PIC to discuss essential details regarding the upcoming journey.
  • Conduct thorough preflight inspections of the aircraft, with a focus on fuel requirements and overall readiness.
  • Ensure the cabin is adequately prepared and stocked for passenger comfort.
  • Calculate and document the Takeoff Data Card, along with necessary flight information publications.
  • Assist the PIC with routine operational tasks, including monitoring en route weather conditions and updating flight plans as necessary.
  • Perform postflight inspections and assist with refueling and securing the aircraft after landing.
  • Be prepared to assume the responsibilities of the PIC in the event of their incapacitation.
  • Adhere to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company policies, and operational procedures relevant to your duties.
  • Engage in additional flight operations tasks and projects as directed by the Chief Pilot or Director.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Commercial Instrument Multi-Engine Rating.
  • Current or previous First Class Medical Certificate.
  • A minimum of 1500 hours of total fixed-wing flight time (or military equivalent).
  • At least 2 years of experience in Part 91 or Part 135 operations.
  • Valid passport required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ATP rating is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least 250 hours of jet flight experience.
  • Experience in corporate or charter aviation is preferred.
