Job Summary

Solar Atmospheres Inc is seeking a skilled Outside Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers and prospects in the metals industry. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of heat treating and metal service centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit multiple prospects and customers a day to build relationships and pitch our services
  • Call and follow up with our high volume of prospects and inbound leads
  • Plan weekly travel schedules and coordinate flights/hotels needed
  • Utilize HubSpot to maintain accurate records of prospecting/customer activities
  • Provide daily reports to the Director of Sales on activities
  • Network and participate at trade shows/conferences throughout the territory

Requirements
  • Heat treating or Metal Service Center sales background with connections to and relationships with machine and metal fabrication shops throughout MI and WI, required
  • Comfortability with extensive travel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems required
  • General knowledge of metallurgy and heat treatment of multiple types of materials preferred
  • Results-oriented, motivated, and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and complete tasks with little supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, required (company vehicle provided)
