Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant at Gastro Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our physicians and nurse practitioners in providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to physicians and nurse practitioners, ensuring they are on schedule and informed of appointment changes.
- Perform various duties, including triage, taking vitals, and gathering medical history to document in the EMR system.
- Assist with procedures and chart updates, ensuring all work areas and exam rooms are neat and clean, and instruments are disinfected.
- Support office staff with phone calls, record requests, and daily orders.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2+ years' experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA) preferred.
