Job Purpose

The Accounts Receivable Collections Manager plays a critical role in guiding and supporting a team of collection specialists to optimize performance and minimize delinquency. This role involves conducting regular one-on-one meetings to provide coaching on processes and techniques, as well as developing and implementing effective collection strategies, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to the team on process, technique, and next steps through regular 1:1 meetings
  • Develop, implement, and document collection strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize delinquency and create efficiencies
  • De-escalate AR-related concerns as needed
  • Establish goals and targets for each collection specialist, evaluate progress, and collaborate on future success in areas needing improvement
  • Generate reporting on various aging metrics, collection specialist performance, and portfolio details for management review on a regular basis
  • Manage employees' schedules using ADP
  • Collaborate with outside collection agencies by maintaining proper records of accounts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • NetSuite experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills
  • Team player who strives to achieve department goals
  • Solid communication skills and positive attitude
  • Quick learner and consistent in meeting deadlines
  • Excellent prioritizing skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
