Summary:

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality of our production machinery and mechanical systems. Your responsibilities will include the installation of new equipment, performing both preventative and corrective maintenance, and assisting operators with minor mechanical issues to ensure optimal operational efficiency and minimal downtime.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with mechanical and/or electronic coursework.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical role.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.
  • Respond to machine alarms and breakdowns, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Identify components requiring replacement and submit requisitions for procurement.
  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance across multiple facilities.
  • Install and relocate production machinery and equipment.
  • Overhaul and modify existing equipment as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the production team and prepare maintenance reports.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit strong mechanical reasoning and attention to detail.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems maintenance, along with proven troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment while managing multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Work collaboratively as a team player and communicate clearly; be open to learning from others and sharing knowledge to foster innovation throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Utilize Windows-based PC applications proficiently.
  • Have a working knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures.
Physical Requirements:

The role requires the ability to exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently. Physical capabilities include climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching/pushing/pulling machinery. The associate must be able to stand or walk for 8 hours a day. Hearing protection and safety footwear are mandatory. This position is set in a manufacturing environment focused on facilities maintenance.
