Summary:

As a vital member of our maintenance team, you will ensure the optimal functionality of our machinery and mechanical systems on the production floor. Your responsibilities will include the installation of new equipment, conducting preventative and corrective maintenance, and assisting operators with minor maintenance challenges to maintain operational efficiency and minimize downtime.

Qualification Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties effectively. The following qualifications are essential:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with mechanical and/or electronic coursework.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a technician role.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Responding to machine alarms and breakdowns, troubleshooting, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Identifying parts for replacement and managing requisitions for ordering.
  • Conducting preventive and predictive maintenance across multiple facilities.
  • Installing new and relocated production machinery.
  • Overhauling and modifying existing equipment.
  • Communicating effectively with the production team and preparing maintenance reports.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit strong mechanical reasoning skills and attention to detail.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems maintenance, along with proven troubleshooting abilities.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment while managing multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Work collaboratively as a team player and communicate clearly; be open to learning from others and sharing knowledge to foster innovation throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Utilize Windows-based PC applications proficiently.
  • Have a solid understanding of lockout/tagout procedures.
Physical Requirements:

The role requires the ability to exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently. Physical capabilities include climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and pushing/pulling machinery. The associate will stand or walk for 8 hours a day. Hearing protection and safety footwear are mandatory in a manufacturing environment.
