    - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, analyzing variances and trends.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    - Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with department heads.
    - Conduct financial forecasts and analyses to support strategic planning and operational goals.
  3. Revenue Management:
    - Collaborate with the Revenue Manager to analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and yield management to maximize revenue.
    - Monitor and report on hotel performance metrics, identifying opportunities for revenue enhancement.
  4. Accounting Oversight:
    - Ensure proper accounting procedures are followed, maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.
    - Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payment and collections.
  5. Internal Controls and Compliance:
    - Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure accurate financial reporting, and prevent fraud.
    - Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to financial operations.
  6. Team Leadership:
    - Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
    - Provide training and guidance on financial processes and systems.
  7. Collaboration and Communication:
    - Work closely with department heads to ensure alignment of financial performance with operational goals.
    - Present financial performance metrics to ownership and management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of hotel financial operations, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, HIA etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
