About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Medical City Ambulatory Surgery Center in Dallas, Texas. As a Surgical Technologist, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide safe and effective patient care in the operating room.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing the operative suite for surgery, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
- Maintain surgical asepsis during procedures, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
- Assist in turnover of operating room suites between cases, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
- Prepare procedure room for use the following day, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist.
- One year of experience in an operating room setting.
- Valid BCLS Certification.
