Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Computed Tomography Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Medical City Lewisville. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any emergencies that may arise
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures, and results
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification within 60 months of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician certification
  • Associate Degree in a related field

We have emergency services at our main campus and at Medical City ER Flower Mound. Our patient tower has two floors dedicated to women's services, and we have a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. We are a Level III Trauma Center and a Primary Stroke Center.
