Job Summary and QualificationsAssociate performs quality diagnostic procedures in an accurate and timely fashion. He/she operates CT and X-ray equipment and processes image as required. Associate prepares CT room, equipment, supplies and medication as indicated for the procedure/exam being performed. He/she practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams and ensures his/her direct reports and other staff members follow the same precautions. Associate maintains safe environment for patients, co-workers and visitors. Supports and helps achieve the departmental and hospital goals. Provides services to all age groups (infant to geriatric).
- Must have current license (ARRT)(R)(CT). If associate does not hold advanced certification, associate shall obtain within 6 months of hire/promotion or completion of training program
- Must have current Texas license (MRT)
- BLS certification from HCA approved vendor
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program or equivalent with appropriate state licensure and National Registry(s)
Medical City Lewisville is a full-service 190+ bed medical and surgical facility. We offer a broad spectrum of care to the communities of southern Denton County. We have emergency services at our main campus and at Medical City ER Flower Mound. Our patient tower has two floors dedicated to women’s services. We have a specialty obstetrics referral center for high risk OB services. We have a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Medical City Lewisville is a Level III Trauma Center and a Primary Stroke Center. Excellent customer service and patient safety are our top priorities.
